Hi, my name is Carli Lyn! I’m 28 year old & live in St. Louis, MO with my boyfriend of 13 years & our 4 fur babies. I am wheelchair bound thanks to a rare bone disease called Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva. Being a fur mom is basically my entire personally.

Graci is my little lap dog who thinks she’s queen of the world (who knows, she might be). She was a high school graduation present & a product of very sad tweets to convince my parents that I needed a little dog after I lost my first service dog, Ralph in 2014. Goober is my sour patch kid- kinda sour kinda sweet.
Patience is my RETIRED (as of May 2025) service dog. She’s my best friend & partner in crime. She’s a 12 year old golden/lab cross. She is my second dog from Canine Companions for Independence. She’s sassy, loves ice cubes, & has the most expressive tail in the history of tails. I would absolutely be lost without her.
Oakley Andrew is Billy & I’s first (official) dog that we adopted together. He was born in December 2024, but were not use exactly what he is or how big he’ll get. He’s the sweetest boy who loves toys, cuddling, and Patience. He is 1000000% Billy’s dog- which I think he secretly planned.
Winston Archie Sullivan is our first little boy He’s our rescue kitty & first animal we adopted together as a couple. He’s just as official as his name sounds. He thinks he runs the house, loves all of my random medical equipment, shower water, & Billy.
I have the cutest little big toes you’ll ever see & a hobby of growing a second skeleton. No literally- I have or FOP. It’s a rare gentic condition that affects roughly one in two million people. You can learn more about how FOP has impacted my life here: Living with a Rare Disease. But you’ll learn more about it through my blog & following me on Instagram!
