Hi!
For you guys who don’t know me, I want to introduce myself.
I’m twenty-one years old. I’m a full-time (18 credit hour) college student. I’m studying Business Administration with a focus in Sports and Communications at Maryville University. I work two part time jobs, and run this blog. My life is focused around my family, boyfriend, dogs, and friends.
I’m a lover of all things monogrammed and flamingos. I have a [slight] Target addiction. I’m an avid Cardinals fan. I love all things social media. I have an obsession with dogs and unsweet tea. I love to read, sleep, and watch reality tv. My nails and toes always have to be done, and I can’t function unless there perfect. I won’t leave the house without my hair being done. I only listen to country music, with the occasional pop or Disney song thrown in.
I have Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressivarare, FOP, a rare bone disease, which affects only one in every two million people. Essentially I’m just really good at growing bone, and my body is growing a second skeleton.
I started this blog to inspire people with disabilities to be more than societies perception. I want to share my viewpoint on living with a debilitating disease and change the way society views me. I want to help find the strength in others, so together, we can change the world.
I know changing the world is a lot of work, but with your help, anything is possible.
